Call us on 472-212-3305 or send the form and we will get back to you. An assessment visit includes moisture readings and a substrate check, and you keep that information whether or not you hire us.

Tell Us About Your Floor

The more detail the better: rooms, approximate square footage, wood type if you know it, and what you want fixed or built.

How to Reach Us

The fastest route is the phone. If you are describing a problem rather than a project, photographs help enormously and often let us give you a useful answer before anyone drives out.

What happens after you get in touch

We talk it through

A short conversation about what you have, what is wrong and what you are hoping for. This is often enough to rule options in or out.

We come and measure

Moisture readings, substrate assessment and remaining thickness where relevant. Free, and the findings are yours to keep.

You get a written scope

Material, preparation, installation and finishing as separate lines, with products named so you can compare it against anyone else's bid.

You decide

No pressure and no follow-up campaign. If we think another approach suits you better, we will have already said so.

Before You Call, It Helps If You Know

  • Roughly when the house was built, since it tells us what substrate to expect
  • Whether the house is on a crawlspace or a concrete slab
  • What kind of flooring is there now, and whether you know its species
  • What specifically is wrong, and roughly when it started

None of this is essential. If you do not know, we will find out when we visit. But if you do know, the first conversation gets a great deal more useful.

What A Free Assessment Actually Includes

An estimate visit is not just someone pacing out a room with a tape measure and writing a number on a pad. Here is what we do and what you keep afterwards.

Moisture readings

We meter the existing flooring and the subfloor, and where the property is on a concrete slab we discuss the ASTM testing that will need to happen before any adhesive goes down. In a climate where average relative humidity runs between 73 and 77 percent, these numbers are the difference between a floor that behaves and one that does not.

Substrate assessment

Flatness checked with a straightedge rather than judged by eye, subfloor construction identified, and where there is a crawlspace, a look underneath with a light and a meter. What is beneath your floor influences its future more than the wood you choose.

Remaining thickness, where it matters

If you have an existing wood floor, we measure how much sandable material sits above the tongue. That single number determines whether a full refinish is even sensible, and it is the most useful thing most homeowners never get told about their floor.

A written scope, not a single figure

Material, substrate preparation, installation and finishing quoted as separate lines, with species, grade, width and finish system all named. That is what makes our quote comparable against anyone else's, which is the point.

You keep the findings either way. If you decide not to proceed, or to use another contractor, the readings and the assessment are still yours. They are genuinely useful information about your house.
